Until then, whether you love the cold or hate the cold, there’s no better time to get away. For cold climate dwellers, a vacation can help break up the interminable grayness, while for residents of warmer areas, like Hawaii, Miami or Los Angeles, it can provide an excuse to romp like a kid in the snow. Fortunately, there are a slew of new, newly renovated and newly brand-affiliated hotels that have recently opened — domestically and internationally — and are ready to accommodate our endless sense of wanderlust. Here are a few of our favorites.IF YOU LOVE THE COLD1. The interior is still in the midst of renovations (it just joined Wyndham’s portfolio in September 2016), but maintains a lot of retro appeal with its miles of polished wood, brass fixtures and ornate carpets.
