Get ready to embrace your inner child: LEGOLAND New York is slated to open in Goshen, New York in Spring 2020 and its play passes are now on sale. While the park isn’t yet open, what’s cool about buying this pass now is that it also includes an invite to visit LEGOLAND New York resort before it even opens for a preview event. There’s not a firm opening date for the park just yet, but spring 2020 is the target. With this pass, you’ll also get 12 months admission to LEGOLAND New York (not including blackout dates, of course) from the first use. There are only a limited number of passes, and they’re on sale right now for $94.99 (no child discounts) – we’d recommend using a card that awards a bonus on theme park/entertainment spending. The park itself will have over 50 rides and attractions, including different themed lands. While you’re there, you can walk through “New York City” in 30 seconds — which is great, because the park is only about 65 miles from the real New York City.Goshen is also a quick ride from New York Stewart International Airport (SWF); JetBlue, Allegiant, Delta and American all fly there, making it a quick, easy getaway for your family when it opens next year. If you do plan on visiting and want the full LEGO experience, make sure to check out the hotel right nearby. When completed, it will feature four different themes to choose from including Castle, Ninjago, Pirate or LEGO Friends.Image courtesy of LEGOLANDSpring of next year will be here before you know it, so now’s the time to jump on this offer if you want to be one of the first to visit this forthcoming park.Image courtesy of LEGOLAND New YorkSign up for our daily newsletterEmail addressSign upI would like to subscribe to The Points Guy newsletters and special email promotions.
