SPG Platinum members (and Marriott Platinums who have matched their status to SPG) benefit most, with the following perks when flying Delta:Priority check-inPriority (Zone 1) boardingUnlimited complimentary upgrades (though at the bottom of the upgrade priority list)Free first checked bagAs of this week, that third bullet also applies to Comfort+ upgrades — Delta recently added the following bit to its news page:Now, Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) Platinum Preferred Members enrolled in the Crossover Rewards program traveling on Delta flights will clear for Complimentary Upgrades to both First Class and Delta Comfort+ based on their SPG tier level on paid tickets. For more information on how to opt-in for Delta Comfort+ upgrades, visit Complimentary Delta Comfort+ Upgrades.Delta Comfort+ seats include extra legroom, and passengers receive a free alcoholic beverage and improved snacks on many flights.
