Unfortunately, these price increases are nowhere near as inspirational as a beautiful sunrise. In fact, the latest round of price increases at Disneyland are downright painful in some regards.Odds are decent that the upcoming opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge may be leading to one of the largest price increases in Disneyland history. As you can see from the table below, the increase in ticket prices is as high as 10% in some categories. The smallest increase we see is 8% for the very limited Select pass. Yearly attendance numbers keep going up, as do ticket prices. Without many ways to reduce the price of tickets, Disneyland is making it more costly for families to afford a day at the parks.Here are some ways to use points for Disney theme park tickets as well as some near-Disneyland hotels where you can use points to stay near the action. You may be able to save a few dollars by searching on Undercover Tourist for discounted tickets, and you might be able to double dip with your Sapphire Reserve travel credit.Disney World has already moved to a date-based pricing system as well as seen as annual pass price increases of its own in late 2018, so hopefully Disney World visitors are safe from increases for now.Want to read more about Disney parks around the world?
