While you can redeem Gold Passport points for free nights at these hotels, previously Hyatt grouped them under a separate award chart — one that apparently hadn’t been updated for more than 10 years. Note that you can use free nights from the Hyatt Visa Card at these properties, however Diamond Suite Upgrades are not available.If you’re looking to earn some extra Gold Passport points, you have a few options. You could go with an Ultimate Rewards-earning card like the recently launched Chase Sapphire Reserve Card, which is currently offering a sign-up bonus of 100,000 points after you spend $4,000 in the first three months. This card has a $450 annual fee, but it could be worth it if you can maximize its perks like a $300 annual travel credit. There’s also the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (with a $95 annual fee that’s waived the first year), which is currently offering 50,000 points after you spend $4,000 in the first three months.
