American Airlines and British Airways are currently offering great fares from Scandinavian cities to US locations starting from $400 round-trip. Fares are available as early as mid April all the way through to October, so there’s plenty of availability on many of the routes on sale. Here are a few examples of possible itineraries.Oslo/Copenhagen/Helsinki/Gothenburg/Stockholm- Los AngelesSale fares on Scandinavia-LAX routes are available most days of the week.Availability for these routes is plentiful, with many dates currently available in April-June and August-October. Depending on the itinerary, fares are currently in the $475 range for round-trip travel. All travel from Scandinavia to Los Angeles requires a (sometimes very lengthy) layover in London, so you can twist that to your advantage if you want to add a visit (especially for a great meal).Stockholm/Copenhagen/Gothenburg/Oslo-New YorkAvailability on the Scandinavia-New York routes is limited, so book soon if you want the lower fares.Oneworld fares to New York are also included in this sale, with round-trip fares starting at $400. Availability to New York is much more limited, with very few dates open in either the spring and fall. If you find a cheap itinerary that fits your schedule, I recommend booking it as soon as possible, since these are some of the lowest (non-mistake) transatlantic fares that I’ve seen in a while.
