View the current offers here.I’m always excited to check out American Express’ Membership Rewards homepage on the first and 15th of every month because that’s when they normally launch transfer bonuses. Especially coming off some recent good ones like the 50% British Airways and Starwood bonuses, I was expecting something decent this month. Yet sadly there’s currently not a single airline bonus and only a 25% “discount” on hotel transfers and gift cards until June 30, 2012....

When you stay at a hotel, tipping the housekeepers is usually considered good form — but have you ever been surprised by a mandatory housekeeping fee that’s added to your bill at the end of a stay?A TPG reader tipped us off (pun intended) about a $5 per day housekeeping charge — service normally included in the room rate — that appeared on their bill following a stay at Staybridge Suites Times Square....

Currently, new Chase Ink customers receive 2 complimentary passes to airport lounges through the Lounge Club program; however, this benefit will be discontinued effective April 30, 2015.As Chase removes the Lounge Club benefit, Amex is building its own network of Centurion lounges....

Delta Air Lines is putting the finishing touches on the first of four new concourses it is building at New York LaGuardia, including new local food options ahead of a fall opening.The Atlanta-based carrier has begun installing jet bridges and fitting out the interior of what will become the six-gate concourse G of its $3.9 billion terminal C/D rebuild at LaGuardia.“The historic infrastructure project underway at LaGuardia is a significant component of the more than $12 billion Delta is currently investing in airport redevelopment efforts around the country,” says Delta CEO Ed Bastian said in a statement today....

A power outage at a nearby substation operated by Southern California Edison resulted in a ground stop at Santa Ana/John Wayne Airport Friday night. The ground stop continued Saturday morning with flights resuming at 7 a.m. local time.Numerous flights were impacted when the airport lost power, with all departing and arriving flights halted around 9:19 p.m. local time.According to data provided by Flightradar24, around 30 arriving and 36 departing flights were impacted by the ground stop....

In fact, this is actually the promotion that caused me to originally get the Hyatt credit card back in 2015. In mid-February, the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) teased a new all-suite brand to complement its existing extended stay brands of Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.
