The 11-seat prop will eventually replace the 83 Cessna 402s in the fleet of the Hyannis, Massachusetts-based regional carrier — and, sadly, it will also replace passenger rides in the right seat....

Finally, there’s a bit of good news on that front....

On June 4, Emirates announced that it will resume service to 20 additional cities by June 15. The Dubai-based airline has run at extremely limited service since the United Arab Emirates banned air travel in March due to the coronavirus outbreak. The airline restarted limited service to nine cities last month, so the addition of 20 more cities more than doubles the number of destinations served.Here’s a look at where Emirates is resuming service and a look at if there’s any bookable award space....

A couple aboard an American Airlines flight doubled down on two major passenger etiquette sins earlier this month: going barefoot and participating in over-the-top PDA. A series of photos of the culprits playing barefoot footsie in first class was captured by fellow (disturbed) passenger Laura Lakey, who then posted the evidence on Instagram.It has since gone viral — and the public roasting has garnered headlines to land the incident in the #passengershaming hall of fame....

Air France announced last week the immediate retirement of its Airbus A380s, which in the U.S. served New York, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. On these routes — some of which are currently suspended due to the pandemic — Air France will now employ smaller aircraft, including the Boeing 777 and 787 and the Airbus A350. The 787 in particular features a much better business-class product than the A380’s....

Just shy of one year since it launched its first routes in the West Coast, FlixBus just announced another major expansion here in the US. The bus company that’s become renowned for cheap bus travel through 28 countries in Europe is quickly making inroads in a county where few may still know its name a year after its launch.On this Thursday — exactly one year from its inaugural US service — FlixBus will launch up to 11 frequencies per day on a new route that runs between New York City, Baltimore, Washington DC and Richmond, Virginia....
