Boeing announced a software upgrade for its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on Monday, mere days after the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, which was operated by a MAX 8.Boeing’s software upgrade announcement came just a few hours after the Federal Aviation Administration mandated “design changes” for the MAX 8, including updates for anti-stalling functionality and maneuverability. However, the FAA has not yet grounded the MAX 8, nor has the agency warned airlines against operating the aircraft as of the time of this post....

On the lower side, you’ve got La Compagnie and its angle-flat seats on the 757, as well as Air France’s A380, which probably has the second-worst product out there — a result of angle-flat seats and no direct-aisle access....

If you don’t have a Goldplus or #1 Rewards account, you can get one for free (until September 30, 2011) here. While 500 points doesn’t seem like a lot, its actually enough for a free full-size weekend rental day....
