Challenges include staying a certain number of nights, at a certain number of brands or using a certain type of rate plan (i.e., Points and Cash). Norwegian is expanding yet again. The low-cost carrier, famed for its international expansion connecting the US to Europe, announced on Wednesday that it’s adding new new nonstop routes out of Boston (BOS). In addition, Norwegian’s announced that it’ll be relocating its London operations to the larger airport in two US metropolitan areas.Beginning March 31, 2018, Norwegian’s operation between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and London (LGW) will move 21 miles to Miami International Airport (MIA)....

A Bronx man is hoping you will.According to the New York Post, Alex Schibli — a resident of City Island in the Bronx — bought the 2.5-acre island for $176,000 in a 2011 auction and has been using it for family outings ever since. One of 44 islands in the archipelago that forms the city, it’s “believed to be the only truly privately-owned island in New York City,” the New York Post said....

Southwest Airlines has long been synonymous with the Boeing 737, but could that be set for a change?It may remain a long shot, but Southwest CEO Gary Kelly at least left the door open to that possibility in the wake of the grounding of Boeing’s 737 MAX variant.“We’re an all-Boeing 737 carrier,” Kelly said in a Thursday interview with CNBC. “That doesn’t mean that we’ll be an all-737 carrier into perpetuity....

With the launch of the first-ever bonus for the transfer of Chase Ultimate Rewards points to an airline program, booking British Airways first class on points has become a very attractive proposition. Through June 16 at 11:59pm ET, transfers from Chase Ultimate Rewards to the British Airways Executive Club are processed with a 30% bonus. That means it’ll be easier to fly BA’s long-haul first class, which, unlike the now-dated Club World business class, is still an excellent seat to spend a long flight in....
