In all the travel I’ve done in my life, I’ve almost exclusively flown economy. Aside from a few last-minute upgrades at the airport (and only when they were a good bargain) and an upcoming trip in premium economy on Virgin Atlantic paid for with points, I am quite familiar with cattle class. Of course, I wouldn’t complain about a fancy seat and extra room to stretch my legs on a long flight....

It’s the airline’s first proprietary lounge, and the news matters to US flyers too, since this lounge opening also benefits Delta travelers....

Hyatt announced on Tuesday that China Southern joined the World of Hyatt loyalty program as an airline partner.“A new airline partner joins World of Hyatt providing our members more ways to get rewarded,” the hotel chain’s website reads. “Now you can earn Sky Pearl Club kilometers for eligible Hyatt stays and convert World of Hyatt points into Sky Pearl Club kilometers.“Here’s how it will work, according to Hyatt. You will earn 800 kilometers of Sky Pearl Club mileage after completing a qualifying stay at a Hyatt hotel....

Forecasts call for up to nine inches of snow in metro Chicago with up to 24 inches in parts of Montana. Some government owned airlines are the best rated in the world — displaying glitz and glam of first class suites, caviar, champagne and even showers in the sky. After 76 days of lockdown, Wuhan Tianhe International Airport has officially reopened. As of Wednesday morning local time, the airport has resumed commercial operations following the city’s lockdown as the origin of the novel coronavirus.Wuhan Airport (WUH), located in central China’s Hubei province, has been closed since Jan. 23, to contain the spread of the coronavirus. As of Wednesday morning, however, operations have resumed. Xiamen Airlines Flight 8095 was the first commercial aircraft to arrive at WUH since the airport reopened....
