If you’re flying Frontier today, you’re going to have your temperature taken before you board. The move makes Frontier the first U.S. carrier to introduce such a measure.The screening will take place using a contactless thermometer, and passengers will be pulled aside if their temperature registers as 100.4 or higher. According to the airline, a second screening will be conducted if time permits, but passengers with fever will be denied boarding and rebooked at a later date or given a travel credit or refund if they choose to cancel the trip....

Throughout the pandemic, airline call center agents have had to deal with unprecedented flight cancellations and reservation changes, leading to hours-long hold times, if customers were able to get through at all. Here’s what she had to say:I sent my friend a referral link for the Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Credit Card to get 20,000 bonus points. The U.S. Department of Transportation is taking steps to make single-aisle planes more accessible for disabled travelers. It announced on Monday that it is seeking public comment on a proposal to improve handicap access to lavatories on single-aisle aircraft.Narrowbody planes had not previously been required to have handicap-accessible bathrooms because they were originally designed for short-haul flying. But, as technology improved and airlines increasingly used single-aisle aircraft on longer routes, the lack of accessible facilities has become a more acute issue for some travelers....

Well, it’s finally happening.United Airlines is returning to New York’s largest and busiest airport. Five years since it pulled the plug on flights from JFK, the Chicago-based carrier has announced that it’s returning.Beginning on Feb. 1, 2021, UA will add flights between JFK and both Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO).United will face stiff competition from nearly every major U.S. airline.
