The TSA PreCheck program continues to grow. On Thursday, the Transportation Security Administration announced that three new airlines — both domestic and international — are joining the PreCheck program.Effective Thursday, Norwegian Air and Icelandair are carriers participating in the PreCheck program. NYC area airports saw a huge jump in the number of arrests of hustling cabbies at its airports in 2018 the Port Authority reported on Wednesday. New York’s Kennedy Airport (JFK) saw the biggest spike — up 67% — with 734 arrests while LaGuardia (LGA) recorded 295 arrests. Over at Liberty International (EWR) in Newark police made 142 arrests. If you were one of the record number of people visiting New York in 2018, there is a good chance you might have had an encounter with one of these cabbies....

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is advising US carriers and commercial operators not to fly over the Persian (Arabian) Gulf. The warning, which was relayed by US diplomatic posts, is due to concerns that the US troops operating in and around the Persian Gulf could misidentify passenger aircraft for hostile military aircraft. In celebration of Jetblue extending its title as the Official Domestic Airlines of Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets for another five years, the New York-based airline revealed an Airbus 320 decked out in Nets livery.“BK Blue,” designed by a team of Brooklyn and New York artists, draws inspiration from city street art, architecture and hip hop.
