According to the airline, the first flight from Tokyo will be NH110 Tokyo (HND) – New York (JFK) while the first out of New York will be NH9 New York – Tokyo (NRT)....

The Setai, Sea of Galilee, is set on beautiful Lake Kinneret on the edge of the Golan Heights in Israel. The hotel has recently been renovated and has 158 suites and villas. There actually aren’t many luxury hotels in this area of Israel to choose from, so when I wanted to visit those regions and the Dead Sea, I decided The Setai would be the perfect jumping-off point, especially since The Setai in Miami is pretty exceptional....

This post has been updated with new information.A Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft crashed early Wednesday morning shortly after taking off from Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA), killing all 167 passengers and nine crew members on board, according to preliminary information.Flight PS752 had just taken off from Tehran, bound for Kiev Boryspil Airport (KBP) in Ukraine when the aircraft crashed. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. The Ukrainian embassy in Iran originally issued a statement saying that the cause of the crash was engine failure, though it later removed that statement, saying, “any statements regarding the causes of the accident prior to the decision of the commission are not official....

Delta flights were delayed at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Monday after two of the airline’s planes collided wings while taxiing to the airport’s runway.Upon pushback from its gate at LAX, a Delta Boeing 737-900 heading to Salt Lake City as Flight 2377 clipped the wing of a Delta Boeing 757 at an adjacent gate operating Flight 696 to Atlanta. More specifically, the airline said in an email to TPG that the right winglet of the 737-900 “made contact” with the left wing of the 757 jet....

We got our first peek at Japan Airlines’ first Airbus A350-900 when it rolled out of a hangar in Toulouse, France on Tuesday.This is Japan Airlines’ first-ever Airbus aircraft. The airline’s fleet is currently composed of 167 Boeing aircraft and has only ever operated Boeing or McDonnell Douglas aircraft (which was absorbed by Boeing in 1997).Decked out in standard JAL livery, a large “Airbus A350” is also emblazoned on the A350’s fuselage to celebrate the aircraft manufacturer’s relationship with JAL....
