After the success of Qantas’ sell-out flight to nowhere, the Australian flag carrier announced that it’s one-upping itself and now selling “flights to somewhere.“Qantas bosses have had to think outside the box to get passengers back in seats as the restrictions on travel for Australians remain some of the strictest in the world. An unheard of Nigerian Airline has just placed an order for 100 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, making it the biggest-ever order for aircraft placed in Africa.Boeing has announced that Green African Airways has committed to ordering 100 737 MAX 8 aircraft. New Yorkers won’t have to fly all the way to Orlando to take their kids to LEGOLAND this summer.With the opening of Legoland New York on July 4, 2020, in Goshen, New York — just 60 miles northwest of New York City in the Hudson Valley — it will be a whole lot easier to enjoy a weekend or even a day at a theme park. I didn’t actually stay in Starwood hotels 100 nights- I got the Personal and Business SPG Amex cards on the same day, which each give 2 stays/5 nights towards status and I also booked rooms for a bunch of other people who traveled with me, since Starwood now allows you to get night credits for up to three rooms per stay as long as you stay....

Virgin Atlantic is set to take its operations to a new continent. The UK carrier announced on Wednesday that it’s going to launch nonstop flights between London Heathrow (LHR) and São Paulo, Brazil (GRU), beginning in 2020.The new route is Virgin’s first to South America and will feature daily service on board one of the carrier’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Virgin’s Dreamliners feature a three-cabin configuration: 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium and 192 economy....

New York City food carts will be going under the health department’s microscope.The iconic carts that dot street corners in Manhattan will undergo a new letter grading program starting in December. Similar to the restaurant grading system that the city introduced in 2010, food carts and trucks will now be graded on a point system and must display a corresponding grade of “A”, “B” or “C.“It will take two years for all of the 5,500 authorized mobile food vendors to be inspected....
