As Uber tries to expand into flying cars and drone delivery, it’s still working to improve its core offering, ride-hailing. On Tuesday it announced it’s rolling out a new option, Uber Comfort.When ordering an Uber Comfort, it appears you’ll receive something in-between an UberX and an Uber XL.Uber says Comfort vehicles will be newer and mid-sized, meeting “elevated, consistent vehicle make and model standards.”However the most noticeable difference will be that each one will have more legroom than a standard UberX vehicle....

While demand for air travel continues to grow around the globe, a number of major international airlines are in precarious financial situations. Loyalty Lobby reported early last week that Colombian flag carrier Avianca posed a $68 million loss for the first quarter of 2019, causing Avianca’s debt to trade at distressed levels.Avianca has $550 million in bonds due in May of 2020, which are now yielding 18.6%, up from 9.7% at the start of the month....

Last week, a photo posted to Twitter allegedly showed a Ryanair flight crew sleeping on the ground of Malaga International Airport (AGP) in Spain after thunderstorms canceled flights. The photo made rounds across social media, leading many to publicly condemn the Ireland-based airline. The crew depicted in the photo accused their employer of failing to find staff proper accommodations following the cancellation. Four days after the photo of the sleeping crew surfaced, Ryanair released CCTV footage allegedly showing the flight crew staging the photo....

The cheapest flights cost $49 on select routes, with many more options going up in price from there.
