Unlike most cards, which offer rewards based solely on spending, the Citi Double Cash Card awards 1% cash back per dollar spent, and then offers another 1% cash back as you pay down your balance. The earning structure is set up to reward people for paying off their balances; at the end of the day, Double Cash is a no-annual-fee card with an overall return that’s pretty competitive for those who wish to bank money instead of points and miles....

See privacy policy.Fractional jet ownership company Flexjet has taken delivery of its first Embraer Praetor 600 jet in a deal valued at $1.4 billion.Flexjet is using the Praetor 600 as part of its Red Label by Flexjet program, which offers flight crews dedicated to a single specific aircraft and fully customized and handcrafted interiors with the industry’s youngest and most technologically advanced fleet in the wake of the ongoing pandemic....

Kuwait Airways has ambitions. Once a minor player with a tiny, outdated fleet, it’s attempting to jump one level up by deploying 10 brand-new Boeing 777-300ERs on long-haul routes. With a fleet of only a couple dozen airplanes, it’s still a minnow compared to the Middle East’s big airlines. But those 777s are configured in a spacious 334-seat layout — and include enclosed suites in first class. This is the aircraft that flies from New York, connecting JFK with Kuwait City (KWI) daily....

Officials have ordered a ground stop at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) after two drones were seen in the area Tuesday night.According to a senior aviation source, ABC News reports two drones were spotted 3,500 feet above smaller nearby Teterboro Airport (TEB), located in Bergen County, New Jersey, just 19 miles from EWR.Some flights were reportedly being held at departing airports to slow the amount of planes coming into Newark for the time being....

Shortly after 9pm local time on Thursday, a massive transformer explosion at the Con Edison power plant in Astoria, Queens, lit up the New York City skies – and social media too, with questions about what happened. Seemingly as a result of the explosion, New York’s LaGuardia airport has been left without power, with is currently wrecking havoc on flights in the crowded New York City skies.Around 9:30pm, FlightRadar24 tracked numerous inbound LGA flights that needed to interrupt their approach and circle:At 9:40pm, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop for LaGuardia, closing the airport until at least 10:30pm....
