Uber has won its long-lasting legal battle with London regulators. Mexican ultra-low cost carrier Volaris is adding new international routes this spring.The new flights were first reported by Routes Online.Sign up for the free daily TPG newsletter for more airline news.Volaris confirmed to TPG that they would begin flights from Leon/Guanajuato, Mexico (BJX) to Chicago (ORD) and Las Vegas (LAS) on April 2 and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) on April 3. The airline will also begin service between DFW and Zacatecas, Mexico (ZCL) on April 2....

View the current offers here.This Sunday, Singapore Airlines will begin operating its first nonstop flight to the US since 2013, when the airline discontinued its Newark and Los Angeles nonstops to Changi Airport. Those flights are scheduled to resume as well two years from now, once Singapore takes delivery of its A350-900ULR, but the San Francisco nonstop is a bit shorter, so the airline can serve that route with the A350 model available today....

But, as I’ve discovered recently, you can’t go wrong with Turks and Caicos. This was my second trip to the islands — and I know many more are in my future! Law enforcement authorities are attempting to recover the body of an allegedly murdered US traveler and missionary from an isolated island filled with hostile tribespeople. But the officials have encountered several roadblocks, reports say, and they are now said to be assessing whether it will be possible to retrieve the man’s remains.John Allen Chau, 26, was reportedly murdered by the Sentinelese tribespeople, who shot him with arrows as he attempted to preach Christianity to them....

Continental announced it is ending its partnership with Virgin Atlantic on February 13, 2012, which is a huge blow to the new United program, in my opinion. One of the most fascinating routes operated by a US-flagged airline is United Airlines’ Island Hopper. Flying from Honolulu to Majuro and then on to Kwajalein, Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, Guam and the reverse, these flights connect otherwise un-served islands in the Pacific Ocean.
