CNN is reporting that after the crash of Ethiopian Air flight 302 in March, the second deadly crash involving Boeing’s 737 MAX in less than six months, the FAA received a number of calls to its whistleblower hotline from Boeing employees about the aircraft.The complaints were related to the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) as well as issues with the actual angle of attack sensor itself. “Among the complaints is a previously unreported issue involving damage to the wiring of the angle of attack sensor by a foreign object,” according to a CNN source....

Puerto Rico experienced another earthquake Saturday morning just days after experiencing one the most damaging quakes the island has seen. This time the quake measured in at a magnitude of 5.9, according to the US Geological Survey.In response to this morning’s quake, JetBlue and Frontier have issued flight waivers for passengers traveling to/through/from select airports.Earlier this week, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake shook the southern coast of Puerto Rico. TAP Air Portugal has announced it’s once again expanding its presence in the United States with a new route between Lisbon (LIS) and Washington Dulles (IAD) and one from LIS to Chicago (ORD). This new service is TAP’s latest expansion into the US market. TAP already services New York (JFK), Boston (BOS), Newark (EWR) and Miami (MIA). TAP has been looking to expand its operations since JetBlue founder David Neeleman took an ownership stake in the airline back in 2015....

On his way back to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Jerry Hart, an American tourist, left something very valuable in the taxi he took to the airport. Hart left almost $10,000 USD in the trunk of the car upon disembarking at the airport terminal, according The Daily Mail is reporting.
