While the day didn’t go exactly as planned, as the aircraft ended up being swapped in for an older 737, the first flight went off without a hitch. The 60-minute hop between Dallas Love Field (DAL) and Houston Hobby (HOU) was a great introduction to the MAX and the comfortable product it offers passengers....

The United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) has just won its fourth World Cup. After defeating the Netherlands with a final score of 2 to 0, the USWNT is currently partying it up in France. While a majority of my stays are in chain hotels that give me great elite perks, once in a while I like to splurge on a luxury hotel. While I usually use points to bring down the cost of expensive hotels or get really good advance/discount rates, once in a while I get the urge to throw caution to the wind and indulge at a non-points earning luxury hotel....

It’s the latest edition of travelers behaving badly.On Friday, 27-year-old Nick Naydev from Vancouver, Wash., posted a video to his Instagram that showed him intentionally leaping from the 11th deck of the world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of Seas. Anyone who’s been to Tokyo knows that Haneda Airport (HND) is much closer to downtown than Narita International Airport (NRT).Despite the slot restrictions currently in place at HND, airlines have been gradually increasing the number of intercontinental flights it serves. While cities like Los Angeles (LAX) and San Fransisco (SFO) on the west coast already have flights to and from both Tokyo airports, the routes will soon be expanding to several cities around the US, as well as to two airports in Canada....
