As a result, British Airways is relaunching its route between London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Iran’s capital city, Tehran (IKA), beginning this July with six flights per week.British Airways will operate the route on its four-class Boeing 777 aircraft, which has 14 first class open suites, 56 flat-bed Club World seats, 44 World Traveller Plus seats and 185 standard World Traveller seats....

Arriving passengers traveling through Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) now have the option to request an Uber ride without the need for a smartphone or personal device. This past week, a developer at Uber shared images via Twitter that show new rider kiosks at the airport.Previously, to request a ride, users were required to do so via the Uber app on their smartphones. While extremely convenient in most cases, Uber is essentially unavailable to users who aren’t able to access their device or are without cellular/Wi-Fi data....

Building model airplanes is nothing new for some aviation enthusiasts, but one man in China has taken that to a whole new level. He has constructed a 1:1 model of an Airbus A320.Twitter user @kevinjia posted some shots of the man’s mockup A320 on a recent visit to see the plane. His post says the man used “tons of steel” and pictures from the internet to construct his dream airplane.Some of the items on board were gathered from flight simulators, while the landing gear tires were taken from actual A320s....

Is there anything worse than overpaying for a mediocre hotel stay? The answer: Yes — what happened to Charlotte Smith.Smith, a 22-year old woman from the U.K., recently went on a trip with her boyfriend to Budapest, where she booked a two-night stay at Bo18 Hotel Superior, according to Business Insider. At the end of her stay, the three-star property was supposed to charge her 60,158 Hungarian forints (about $199). But the transaction was accidentally submitted as 60,158 euros — or a whopping $66,000....

It’s been a little over two and a half years since American Airlines first introduced basic economy fares. After starting on just 10 domestic routes, it wasn’t long before the airline’s cheapest and most restrictive fares expanded nationwide. In spring 2018, AA added basic economy fares to Europe. Then, in September 2018, basic economy expanded to Hawaii and the Caribbean. But it’s been relatively quiet since then.Unfortunately, that streak just ended....
