In what’s likely to be Boeing’s most significant airline announcement of the 2019 Paris Air Show, Korean Air has signed on to add 30 787 Dreamliners to its fleet. The carrier’s order consists of 10 Boeing 787-9s, 10 787-10s and another 10 787-10s leased via Air Lease Corporation (ALC).Korean Air currently operates a fleet of 10 mid-size Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners — TPG and I attended the airline’s first 787 delivery event at Boeing’s South Charleston, SC plant back in 2017....

Is Norwegian Air attempting to take over the world?It may seem that way after the airline’s spokesman announced on Friday that the low-cost carrier will open at least two bases in Buenos Aires and Cordoba, and possibly a third in Mendoza, to operate flights in Argentina.The domestic routes would begin at the end of 2017 and could eventually be supplemented by international flights in and out of the country. Norwegian would be Argentina’s first low-cost airline — the country is currently served by the state-owned Aerolineas Argentinas and LATAM (formerly LAN)....

Michael W Travels is reporting a targeted offer from Lyft to save $50 on 10 rides. This one has a bit of a catch though, in that you have to purchase a Ride Pass in order to get the discount. The Ride Pass costs $4.99, but if you know you will be taking a lot of Lyft trips in the near future the pass could save you some real money. According to Lyft’s website, you must receive an email offer to be eligible to purchase a Lyft Ride Pass....
