After a great flight on Qatar Airways’ first Airbus A350-1000, I needed to make my way back home. TPG grabbed a seat on the airline’s nonstop A350-900 flight to JFK, but we were after something a bit more creative for me, so I’d have an opportunity to do another review. The solution: Fly Qatar’s Dreamliner from Doha (DOH) to Dublin (DUB) and hop an Aer Lingus A330 — with the new(ish) lie-flat business class — to New York....

I had flown on WOW’s new A330 from San Francisco (SFO) to Reykjavik (KEF) on the outbound, but decided to take Icelandair back from KEF to New York (JFK). The only other carrier flying nonstop to Iceland from the US is Delta, which operates from JFK and offers seasonal service from Minneapolis (MSP)....

Both Uber and Lyft continue to roll out service enhancements, including a new option to schedule rides in advance — up to 24 hours for Lyft and up to 30 days for Uber. Last year, Lyft offered some airport-specific savings, and this year there’s a new promo offering riders savings on trips to or from the airport....
Once again, Uber is exploring self-piloting technology.This time, the ride-hailing giant is focusing its efforts on “micromobility,” self-piloted bikes and scooters, which will be able to drive themselves to charging stations or to better locations.
