Boeing must quickly take major steps to regain the public’s confidence about its 737 MAX model, according to a new report from the Atmosphere Research travel consultancy.The report from San Francisco-based Atmosphere quantified travelers’ feelings and fears about the troubled jet. The group surveyed 2,000 US airline passengers age 18 and older from April 27 through May 1. Over 32% of the passengers who participated said they took at least one business trip annually, while nearly 97% took at least one leisure or personal trip annually....

Icelandic ultra-low-cost carrier Wow Air has released new details regarding its potential partnership with its latest proposed financial savior, private equity firm Indigo Partners. Until today, the Airbus A330-800neo was the aircraft no one wanted. In March, Hawaiian canceled Airbus’ only order for the jet that’s been on sale since 2014.But Kuwait Airways is saving a dying program by ordering eight of the wide-body aircraft, it confirmed today.After five months of negotiation, Kuwait’s national carrier placed an order for the jets that retail at about $255 million. That puts the deal at more than $2 billion dollars, although it’s likely Kuwait Airways received a discount on the aircraft since Airbus has had such trouble selling them....
